with Cedar Kindy
One day workshop, Saturday, September 30, 2023
9:00 a.m. - 3 p.m.
$120.00
Color, color, and more color is what this workshop is all about! Taught in a step by step method, we will paint the background in bright transparent watercolor: using wet on wet, throwing, and floating color techniques. Then we will paint over the background in gouache to create opaque light values and even more vividness through the juxtaposition of colors. This is a very intuitive and loose painting workshop. No experience is necessary. All supplies are provided. Spend a day playing with colors and go home with a painting of Michigan’s fall beauty. Bring smock, apron or old t-shirt.
