Two day workshop: Thursday, Oct. 12, & Friday,
Oct. 13, 2023
9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. daily
$225.00
In this 2-day workshop you will learn techniques that will help you bring life into your work. Early Impressionism developed from the artists creative need to express themselves beyond the social constraints on artists of that time. It was the beginning of the freedom enjoyed by an artist to express themselves with their own individual voice. Contemporary Impressionism has evolved into many styles of its own today. I love the bolder approach often seen in the modern Russian Impressionists. Using thick textures, bold brushwork and vibrant color injects the canvas with energy.
This workshop is designed to share some of the processes and techniques I use in my own journey into Contemporary Impressionism.
MATERIALS TO BRING:
A supply list will be sent out prior to the workshop. If you have worked in oils before, you will probably have most everything you will need.
