Discover easy techniques to painting fresh, luminous flowers in watercolor. Work with glazing, wet-into-wet, dry brushing, negative painting, lost and found edges and other unique watercolor techniques. Learn to use color theory, composition and design to make your florals shine. All levels welcome.

About the Artist

Eva S. Nichols is an award-winning watercolorist & instructor best described as an "impressionist colorist" inspired by nature. 

In 2009-10 Danish born Eva was an artist in residence at Mendocino Art Center, CA which started her career as a popular art instructor. She has a unique ability to inspire students to explore their creativity and grow artistically. Since moving to Truckee, CA in 2010 Eva has won numerous awards. She is a member of The Sierra Watercolor Society as well as the ARTisan Shop at North Tahoe Arts in Tahoe City, CA and several galleries in California, Nevada, Denmark, Spain and China represent her.
