Polyptych means “many panels” and this workshop includes six 8”x8” wooden panels. We will use use mixed media techniques with acrylic paints, while creating individual paintings using design formats and compositional challenges. Each panel will stand alone as a work of art. However placing them together in two rows using line, color, shape, and texture panels will be visually joined them to create a 24”x16” polyptych. You can use it for an art puzzle on a coffee table or adhere it to a panel and frame. A two-day workshop is challenging to the beginner or advanced artist.

Artist Bio
Having lived thirty plus years in Grand Rapids, I now live in Port Orange, Florida, where I am busy creating art, teaching, and of course spending time at our beautiful beach. I teach Watercolor and Experimental Mixed Media classes at the Art League of Daytona Beach, as well as The Hub on Canal and Artists' Workshop in New Smyrna Beach. I consider myself an Experimental Artist, as I am always exploring new surfaces and discovering ways of painting non traditionally, and love being able to pass this on to my students. I spend summers in the Grand Rapids area with my photographer husband.
