Join us for a new 6-week workshop in colored pencil drawing! Get familiar with colored pencils in a way that is not like when you were a child. They have so much more potential! This course will show you how to create beautiful art with color harmony, textures, shadowing, blending, layering and other techniques.

After learning the fundamentals, you can produce vibrant, rich colors that will stand out. We will work with different subject matter during these workshops. No prior experience needed to join us.

MATERIALS TO BRING:

Students will provide their own materials. A supply list will be sent out prior to the workshop.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Mary Clare has been an artist her entire life and has taught Art since 1984. Her work has been featured at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, purchased for the MEA building in Lansing, on display at the Muskegon Museum of Art, in many adjudicated shows, and has found a home in the private collections of many art enthusiasts across the country.

Mary Clare is thrilled to offer her creative talents and refreshing enthusiasm to teach many others the joy of drawing.
